BEFORE USE
Rinse and moisturize the konjac sponge in warm water, either by running it under the tap or by submerging it in water. Remove excess water by squeezing the sponge between your hands and swiping your face in a circular motion. It is not necessary to use cleansing products, but a small amount can be added to the Konjac Sponge if desired. If a cleanser is added, the sponge will help the product work better and with less of it.

AFTER USE
Always rinse the sponge well and leave it to dry in a ventilated place. Be careful not to wring it out as this could damage the delicate plant fibres it is made of, to remove excess water just squeeze it between your hands. A little trick is to put the clean sponge in the fridge to keep it fresh and help it last even longer. Alternatively, the kojac sponge is happy to dry on a radiator or heated towel rail, hanging from its string. It shrinks and hardens as it dries, this is perfectly natural, it simply allows it to absorb water and rehydrate before use. Never use the sponge when it is dry. The better you look after the sponge, the longer it will last. Never leave the sponge in the shower or in a puddle of water or in a humid environment. The konjac sponge is a 100% natural plant product and should last 2 to 3 months. Once it begins to fray or break, replace it. Konjac sponges can be safely composted or planted in pots or in the ground near moisture-loving plants. Keep out of reach of children.
